Safe and Anonymized Data Collection
Our technology uses sensors that collect anonymized and non-personal data. We gather only the information necessary to deliver value to our customers, focusing on the following parameters:
- Movement in the room
- Counting the number of people entering and exiting a room or area
- Temperature
- Relative humidity
- CO2 levels
The sensors exclusively collect anonymized data; no personal or sensitive information is collected, processed, or stored.
Aggregation Ensures Anonymity
To further protect privacy, we use a method called “aggregation.” This means that all movement data is collected from at least seven sensors, ensuring that the information presented can never be traced back to individuals or specific workstations. Our solution thus provides a comprehensive view of area utilization without compromising individual anonymity.
Technology Without Surveillance Potential
Our sensors are designed to promote efficient resource utilization without the capability for personal surveillance. In meeting rooms, we use PIR sensors (passive infrared sensors) to detect movement, while optical sensors count the number of people without any facial recognition ability. The data is displayed as aggregated graphical representations in our platform, providing insights without the risk of privacy breaches.
